There was a problem with the click tracking for VegasUSA casino in the Top Casinos list which I've just rectified. I added them there a couple of weeks ago. I did a virus scan ( Norton ) and it came up with a virus alert : Trojan Horse with in the VegasUSA casino software so I've now removed it from my system, take care and be lucky

There weren't any viruses when I downloaded it. Some virus scanners can classify certain things as Spyware but they are just being picky to inflate the number detectable by the software (i.e. it detects cookies or registry keys storing passwords etc. so if you remove them you will have to enter your account details again). Some ActiveX downloaders that require no user confirmation also come up with some of the detectors (Belle Rock and Fortune Lounge use similar ones).
Can you tell me what the Trojan was called? |

Howdy 
I must have about 50+ casino down loaded on my pc and for some reason it caught this Trojan "Joe.dat" ( thats all the info I have on it) in this one casino  , my Spy Sweeper catch's the other casinos for spy ware etc etc, but it was Nortons virus scanner that caught the "Joe.dat" Trojan , its not alerted me regarding the other casinos, so I immediatly thought some thing was a bit fishy with this specific casino, so quarantined the "Joe.dat" Trojan, then removed the casino, take care and be lucky

| joe.dat is a file in all MicroGaming casinos and my version on VegasUSA is the same as many of the other Microgaming casinos I've got installed. Although it isn't an executable file directly due to the .dat extension, it does contain a windows program. I think it is used to delete old files from the casino. A lot of Spyware programs detect Microgaming related files, although they are harmless. |
