Update 2006: They currently have a lot of free spins promotions with no obligation. I don't recommend Fortune Lounge group but they are pretty safe to play at and you might win a lot with the free spins so you could give them a go. There have been reports (as I alluded to earlier) that this group sometimes cancel checks after sending them. I have been in contact with this group, and they say they only cancel checks if fraud is suspected.

I'm not sure why the cheques are sent in the first place if fraud is suspected, but they are not cancelled solely because a player has not sent verification documents (as has been reported).

Verification documents are sometimes asked for, but cheques will not be sent until Fortune Lounge receives them. The confusion also lies in there being many Fortune Lounge casinos and players may only require documents pertaining to one casino and still get paid from the others. In my experience with this group, the email asking for verification doesn't detail which account. I received an email asking for documents but thought I still got the cheques without having to send the info but they were from the other accounts. A missing cheque that never arrived was from the casino that I still needed to send documents to. My other cheques weren't cancelled even though I hadn't sent the documents.


UPDATE: I checked (when I finally found the email) and the email did actually say which account it was about. I had to sign a $600 purchase and send copies of the card and ID. The thing was that I got the refund, anyway. I just didn't get the winnings. I recently cashed out from the account again after sending the documents.

For what its worth I wouldnt touch these people with a bargepole - too many reports of stopped cheques for my liking.

I am also fed up of receiving thier spam-mail - even if I unsubscribe I still get the weekly offer of ......................................

I can understand that you are concerned about the reports of cancelled checks.

Checks are only cancelled where we have established fraud. Unfortunately in some cases fraud is only established after the check was issued - mostly when other player accounts are opened that have identifiable links with the player who has cashed in. (these are cases where players manipulate the registration details)

The criticism we (quite rightly) received was not because we cancel checks but because we failed to inform players that checks were cancelled. We have since implemented several procedures to ensure that we communicate check cancellations to players.

This issue has also been blown out of proportion somewhat as we only cancel on average 1 check per week. The interesting fact, though, is that I have not received a single reply from any player who I have invited to contact me personally after complaining about a cancelled check in a forum.

We are seriously committed to resolve our service inadequacies and feedback from the forums are of great importance to us.

In terms of the spam issue - I absolutely agree as unwanted mail is a major irritation. If you contact me I will personally ensure that you do not receive any unwanted mail from us.

I deposited at Royal Vegas and Vegas Villa and cashed out for a profit at Vegas Villa and broke even at Royal Vegas. Both payments were made to Neteller within 4 working days. icon_lol.gif

I actually pulled a fast one at both in that I withdrew my deposit BEFORE they added the bonuses ( I think that it is allowed in thier T+Cs anyway).
The Vegas Villa payment went without a problem - the Royal Vegas cashin was reversed by them although was sorted out with a quick email - thier reason was that I had outstanding WR from months ago. I even got a phone call from CS to check that everything was ok after my email.

Full marks to thier CS for this one - I have also deposited again this weekend for a 150% bonus - why Ive neglected these in the past I dont know icon_redface.gif

For what its worth I play Sicbo here - the chance of losing a 150% bonus on a 5x D+B are VERY remote if you take it easy on the big/small bet options. The house edge on this type of bet is 2.77% (same as roulette which is not allowed icon_eek.gif ) - it would take a house edge of 12.00% for me to lose all of my bonus on the 150% bonus or 20.00% to lose all including my deposit. My favourite aspect about this game however is the speed - I think that I can play over 10 hands per minute icon_exclaim.gif

I'm afraid these are dumped for now. There are still unresolved complaints about confiscation of winnings and even deposits. I'm still awaiting bonuses to be credited from recent offers. Emails to customer support or even VPops@fortunelounge.com (who registered with this forum) have not helped.

I'm glad to hear you found them. There is nothing that pisses me off faster then to be ignored. But VPops seems to be very responsive and I'm happy to see the effort he's been putting into the forums to address posts of concern. That I know is a time consuming job, and sometimes a frustrating one because although many complaints are legit, there are a lot of people that don't always tell the whole story when posting their problems and that can be frustrating. At least it is for me.

Fortune Lounge was the first casino I ever played, 7 Sultans. I won a progressive there once and was paid quickly. But that was several years ago.

I also found their support to not always be the most helpful. But hopefully things are improving.

Does anyone have any more comments about this group? When I dumped them, I'd heard from a player in Canada who had huge problems getting paid. I dumped them here as they didn't explain the reasons to me. He in the end only got his deposit back only after six months and no winnings. Another player who asked for my help with their win of over $2000, finally got paid only after I contacted the casino. The player was a friend of the other player who only got his deposit back. The were from Ukraine originally and didn't have good English and I didn't believe what the casino rep was saying about them being involved in a russian syndicate!

I also had probelms claiming promotions twice at this group but got them eventually months later with great difficulty.
