PostPosted: Fri Apr 09, 2004 3:06 pm    Post subject: Kiss Casino/Giant Vegas Problems Reply with quote

I just wanted to post a note that we (The Hiding Place -pub199.ezboard.com...) have decided to end sponsorship with Kiss Casino/Giant Vegas after numerous problems of voting issues, deposit bonus discrepencies, and vague information given by the casino.

I see real problems when casinos want to promote vote promotions or deposit promotions and then seem to have a habit of refusing those same promotions due to not following T & C. This would be fine if the T & C's were given ahead of time.

This trend seems to be so prevelant anymore, that I wonder how many others have had the same experience, even with different casinos. Where is the responsibility placed? To members who receive promotional information that doesn't have all the rules and regulations in it? Or to the Casino?

Is the trend getting worse? Thought other opinions would be helpful.

Hi Pixie
I have seen a lot of copied bonus promos from one forum to another. These are mostly done by the patrons of the forum.
The problem with letting patrons post, what the forums call shared promotions, is that the patrons who are doing the posting either do not get the right information for the promo or its posted wrong the first time, then it just snowballs throughout all the forums.

In a way it's kind of amusing to watch, going from one forum to another, seeing all the patrons complaining. I realize it's not amusing to the people who work the forum ;o)
The big problem here is that the casino which the promo is for ends up being the bad guy. I am sure most of the time it's not the casino's fault.

There is a vote promotion for Leopard Rock Casino which started the 1st of the month at a few forums, which I won't name.
All of these forums had it posted the same way. Just send in your votes and you get the bonus. That is a normal vote promotion.

The problem was this casino wanted only new signups for the vote promotion, meaning you had to signup from these forums banners.
Either the casino told the forums wrong or the forums misunderstood.

At any rate by the 6th of the month patrons are asking, where is my vote bonus. The Mods were saying we sent them in.
Finally someone called and they found out the problem. The forums had to change there original post to read only new signups from our banner will get the promo.

In the mean time one of these forum owners talked again to the Rep at the casino and the casino agreed to give everyone who voted the bonus, no matter if you’re a new signup or old, and will continue the vote promo that way the rest of the month.
Good piece of PR work, done by the casino, no matter whose fault it was.

My point is its hard enough for the forum owners to make sure they have the right information about a bonus promo.
I don't think they should let anyone post bonus promos. Even if these promos are from other boards or just a promotion from a casino, only forum owners or the people that work for them should be able to post Promotions.
That would cut down on a lot of problems for all the forums.

So the moral to this story is I voted, didn't get the bonus, then I did, thanks to the casino, then I cashed out $100.00.
Ok so there was no moral LOL!
I love stories with happy endings though, don't you? ;o)

It's true that many bonuses, promotions are copied by members, and it's always appreciated when they do, it certainly helps us out and lets members know what's going on.

I'd say that of course reading the T & C is always the best way, but when the casino doesn't list certain things, doesn't help a whole lot.

Would have been nice for Kiss/GV to just go ahead and honor the credits, but a discussion didn't seem like it was going to happen.

Nice you could at least get yours for Leopard and cash out.

Excuse me, but the decision to dump Kiss & Giant Vegas wasn't because someone posted wrong promo info. This decision was based on a deposit promotion offered to my members and when these members were sent in to be credited after they had deposited were then denied the bonus, why?

They also used the 100% new player first deposit bonus coupon....if this was an exclusion in this promo it should have been stated up front when the promotion was given to me to offer to my members....It wasn't disclosed to me until I sent depositing members in to be credited......and they were all turned down..........thats just one problem with these casinos......Now how about this.....if anyone had deposited at both Kiss and Giant Vegas to receive the deposit bonus it also would have been denied, why because they could only receive the bonus from one casino, not both.....another rule that wasn't disclosed up front.......I call this deception of the worst kind and no casino will ever get away with cheating my members or me.....and as far as honoring the deposits that were made afater I pointed out to THORSTEN, that he never disclosed this peice of info to me...He flattly and rudely refused to make this offer good.....any decent casino rep/ casino period would've made it good and then ask to have the rules posted for future depositors...this didn't happen...

HE FLATLY AND RUDELY REFUSED TO CREDIT THESE ACCOUNTS...BUT WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO TAKE THEIR DEPOSITS.

Vote bonuses, vote for both casinos which alot of people did.......but....you can only receive the credit at one of the casinos not both......so why vote for both if you can only get the vote bonus at one and not the other? Another deception to get votes.......I cant speak to what other board owners were told as far as rules on this one....but most board owners are not into deciving their members and I highly doubt that if this rule was disclosed up front to the board owners they would've kept that from their members....we do have to deal with and answer to these deceptions when members dont get what their promised.....Would be totally ignorant on any board owners part to leave that rule out and it certainly doesn't help the board in anyway to have pissed off members....

I hope all of the boards heed this warning and dump them as sponsors.....Oh yeah...I have aff money due me...shpould've been paid on the 1st.......haven't received it YET....and guess what not one reply to any of ny enquiries as to why I haven't been paid......NO SURPRISE AT ALL!!!!!!!

And in a nutshell, that is why a sponsoring casino will be dumped by the board. The board is there for the members, not to be taken advantage of.

I'm sure we'll be seeing more complaints about them, just as we have been lately.

Thanks Mynuwhalo!

Hello Mynewhalo
I hope you don't think my post was referring to Kiss & Giant Vegas.
I know nothing about it.
I was talking about Leopard Rock, and what they did to help out with a communication problem they had with forums that ran there vote promo.

The subject about patrons posting bonus promos in Gambling Forums was just something I mentioned because they do make a lot of mistakes and they are copied onto other forum boards by other patrons.

Nope not at all. but I did want to make it clear and understood that these casinos knowingly ripped off my members and when asked to make it good flattly refused.....unlike Leopard rock and other casinos I have had the pleasure to work with...

Ant casino who knowing leaves out pertinant imformation regarding a deposit bonus and when called on their mistake whether it be an accident "I HIGHLY DOUBT IT WAS" or was just "FORGOTTEN" in the SPECIAL T & C'S for this promo will be dumped and blacklisted by my forum, especially since they refused to make good on their own mistake.
Mistake! if it was a mistake and not intentional then they would've made good on it.....instead of thinking myself and my members should've none the rules up front......" NOW WE'RE ALL MIND READERS"

YOUR RIGHT ABOUT BONUSES BEING COPIED AND POSTED FROM BOARD TO BOARD TO BOARD.
That will probably never change....but the responsibility lies with the board owners and their admin to check out the validity of the promos before allowing them to remain as a post....I myself have gone to live chat to check out a free nd offer several times only to find that the offer wasn't legitimate or had already ended......and then removed it from my prpmo section.....It only takes a few minutes to do,but not all board owners police their forums for such things as this and then some do....

But a casino who ripps off depositing players by offering them a deposit bonus and doesn't disclose ALL of the rules are cheats and dirty dogs and wioll have no place at my board and I'm finding out that alot of my members have had previous problems with these casinos and why some forums want to continue promoting them is besides me....Guess their members haven't been ripped off yet......

The manager of Giant Vegas is the former manager of GLobal Player. He pulled a few dirty tricks when he was manager there. i knew this was coming.
