You will see the bonus related ones in the Billboard section and all others in the News and Views section. You can discuss the news from each topic as normal by replying to the posts.
There will be a lot of them so tell me if you think a filtering method is necessary so that certain topics are not shown based on your filter settings. I am a bit worried it will swamp the normal topics. |

There is a separate section for non-online gambling stories now although it may be temporary. If I don't remove it completely, I may later move the new forum into a subforum of the NEWS AND VIEWS section. The forum software can't have sub-forums as standard but there is a way to allow it with some known modifications to the code.
If you don't want these Newsfeed posts mixed in with the others, you will notice that you can toggle them on or off with the invisible/visible link at the top right.
Some of the news headlines go back to before the board began but I managed to post them using past post dates. I will only post old article/news headlines if I am able to parse the date for them. It is obviously no good posting old information as new posts. You will find thousands of these old news headlines in the NEWS AND VIEWS section and some of them are very interesting (please make sure the newsfeeds are set to VISIBLE, otherwise you won't see them).
When there are more feeds I will add a Newsfeed manager so you can specify exactly which ones you want shown to you. |

Just a note to say that the RSS version has been upgraded to specification 0.92. This won't cause any problems with readers, but the old 0.91 specification limited title lengths to 100 characters which was causing errors sometimes if the title was cut off in the middle of an html entity code, which is usually five characters long (for example a quote character ' is encoded as a five character string '& # 0 3 9' in the title but it was sometimes cut off in the middle with long titles and caused an error).
As I mentioned in the Announcement in the 'News and Views' section, the newsfeeds are not visible anymore by default in the forum views but there are now other links to the news headlines. |

| Most of the Newsfeeds are still being posted but there is a problem with the scripts that create and post the RSS feeds. This is due to some configuration issue on the webserver stopping some functions from working that used to work before. I'm not sure if it will go back to normal or if I will have to try and fix the scripts. |
