Schankwart Vs. Cirrus Casino

---------------------------------------------------------------------- ----------

About a week ago I offered to help Schankwart with recovering his $5200.00 winnings from Cirrus Casino.
Schankwart and I IM'd one another regularly to be sure I knew what the exact problem was. After feeling confident that Schankwart is in the right, I decided to phone Cirrus Casino.
So, on February 24th I phoned and spoke to Christine Jennings. Christine is the manager at Cirrus. In fact I spoke to her twice to be sure I understood what she was telling me.
Basically what Christine said was that on Nov 21st she spoke to Schankwart and told him that he could NOT use the bonus code: 6B6U because it was a HighRoller bonus and for first depositors only. She then deemed Schankwart a "SKILLED PLAYER".
A "SKILLED PLAYER" I asked....what do you consider a "SKILLED PLAYER"? Christine explained to me that a person who is a "SKILLED PLAYER" is a person who wins TOO MUCH!!! And therefore Schankwart was reduced to that level and was only allowed a maximum of a 30% bonus from here on in. But, Christine did NOT tell Schankwart about his reduction until AFTER he played the NEW bonus which I mention in the following paragraph.
On Nov 24th Schankwart received an email from Cirrus asking him to use a 100% bonus code: MMKW8 with WR's 25 X D+B. This bonus was good for the NEXT FOUR deposits. I would have thought, as Schankwart thought, that Cirrus had reconsidered and was going to allow Schankwart to play with the 100% bonus.

Schankwart played the bonus GIVEN to him and made a profit of $5200.00.

If Cirrus did NOT want him to play they should NOT have offered that 100% bonus to him.
He played ...met the WR's and ALL the T&C's.

Now, in my opinion Schankwart must be paid.
There is NO doubt in my mind that he is entitled to his winnings.

Once again a Cirrus Casino player gets screwed!!!

I have attempted to negotiate a settlement between Schankwart and Cirrus Casino.
I am sorry to say that after many cordial conversations with the manager of Cirrus Casino, Christine Jennings, we are at a complete stand still.

Christine Jennings has offered Schankwart 30% of the $5200.00 equaling $1560.00.
The 30% that Christine wishes to give to Schankwart represents any of the other 30% bonuses Schankwart could have accepted which were offered in the email Cirrus Casino sent to Schankwart.
Schankwart believes that he is entitled to the full amount and will not settle for less.
I must admit that Christine tried very hard to come to a settlement.
Yet, I still believe, as Schankwart does, that he is entitled to the full amount.

I must now proclaim that I have made every attempt to settle this and that the two parties involved cannot come to an agreement and there is no more I can do to resolve this issue.

I am no longer going to negotiate between these two parties unless one party asks me to contact the other with a possible new proposal.

I feel very badly that this has not come to a conclusion.

I don't know where or how to begin.
I'm 61 years old, for many years I've owned my own business's. I was the person who hired and fired employees. I thought myself to be a very good judge of character.
Apparently, I've lost that trait.
In the IM's and the emails that Schankwart and I shared he was less than truthful. I believed him when he promised me that he was not lying and was completely truthful.
I decided to drop out of this when I was told, by Christine ( Cirrus Casino Manager ), that $1560 was the maximum Schankwart was going to get. I told him that we were at a dead end and I thought that he should negotiate with a counter offer. He wanted the $5200.00, no less. I explained to Christine that Schankwart refused to negotiate and wanted the full sum of money. I also explained to Christine that I thought he was being unreasonable and stubborn and I will not be involved any longer. I was truly pissed that he would not even give them an offer. Christine, at all times was kind, considerate and very professional. She thanked me for the effort and we left with a good feeling of one another on a personal note.

I regret EVER getting involved in this. I'm embarrassed and ashamed that I was duped and sucked into this young mans lies. My apologies to you all for my mistake.

Just about here is where Jinnia attempted to help the two parties settle their dispute. I will leave the rest of this thread for Jinnia to finish for she knows better than I what took place.

I saw Lanidar backing off from helping Schankwart, and I honestly felt he was owed the money, so I took over his complaint and made contact with Christine and Schankwart through email, PM's and phone.

As the issue progressed Christine accepted to pay Schankwart 50% of the 'winnings' which would is $2100.00.

Schank said he'd agree to $2600.00.
He was told it would be $2100.00 or nothing.

A little more time passed and --

A settlement was FINALLY agreed upon.

Schankwart was given a specific time to perform his part of the agreement.
Schankwart did not fulfill his end within the time frame given.
He was given more time by Christine, and he still failed.
Schankwart posts and leaves it as Cirrus is in complete wrong doing.
That post ended any and all negotiations from Christine/Cirrus.

Schankwart's stubbornness, his refusal to even think he was in the wrong to any degree, or even believing in the possibility he could have made a mistake, kept this dragging on.

And his inability to follow through with his end of the agreement, has now stopped all negotiations.

In my honest opinion, Schankwart had no intentions of keeping to any agreement made, and he played too many games.

From this point forward there will be no further statements of any kind or answers to any questions regarding this issue from either Jinnia or myself, Lanidar.
