Hi,
I'm new to this forum, and pretty new to online gambling as well. I've played at a few different sites and made a bit of money, so it's not a bad deal I suppose.
Anyway, I'm writing specifically about Intercasino. I started playing at this site a few weeks ago, as I found that they seemed to be a highly respected casino online. They also offer a nice $90 match bonus that you can get each month.
Anyway, I initially won some money. This wasn't a quick, few big hands style win, it was a slow, slightly winning a bit of money thing. However, after a short break I've gone back to the casino and I'm a little suspicious of their blackjack hands.
This isn't me just complaining about losing a few hands and a bit of money, or not becoming a millionaire over night, this is me noticing that the dealer gets a statistically large number of odd hands like 5 card 21s, etc, etc. If I had only kept proper records of the number of times I doubled down large hands to 20, only to have the dealer hit a crazy 21, I think you'd agree the percentage is a little off. This change in dealer odds comes as their server seems to be having a lot of problems; I've been disconnected pretty much nonstop lately.
Am I crazy to be suspicious of such a highly regarded casino? Has anyone else had problems with Intercasino? Finally, what should I do to prove/disprove my suspicions?
Thanks for your time guys! |

I have played at Intercasino since 1999 and I don't think they are using any rigged games. It is likely just bad luck. Sometime it seems like you can't lose too and it's all normal in a fair game. Their casino software (CRYPTOLOGIC) was approved by the Isle of Man licensing regulations and had quite a few casinos licensed there (which was extremely strict in the past which caused problems for licencees as they had to get approval for every minor upgrade to the software).
If you see the related topic shown below 'Intercasino - Cryptologic' you will see someone else having problems there but it was not all that unlikely in the end after I saw the game logs and analysed them a bit.
Intercasino will store all the log details from the games you play on your hard drive. So if you play from just one computer, it is quite easy to analyse the play logs for the games. It also shows the values for each card. The Log Viewer option can be selected in the software menu. If they were cheating, then the logs would be able to easily prove it after a while.
Also, if you ever uninstall the software or your computer breaks down, you can still request a copy of the log files from them. |

home.ripway.com...
I've played thousands of hands of Blackjack at Intercasino. Look at the link above ... RED loss side and the Green win side.

Look at he link above. You will see that I've won three in a row ONCE and four in a row FOUR times out of 269 hands.
Some one try to tell me that this is random dealing! _________________ DEATH LOOKED IN MY EYES THEN HE SHOOK WITH FEAR |

I'd like to note that my run of statistically defying bad lad happened during Intercasino's President's Day Weekend Blackjack Promotion. Unfortunate.
Again, I can accept a string of bad luck.. that's something you have to accept with gambling. I'll take a look at my log files. |

More play at Intercasino, more absurd hands from the dealer. The company should advertise that they have "the luckiest dealer in the gambling world".
How can I format my log file so that it looks like lanidar's? I'd like to share my massive streak of "misfortune" with you guys. |

| Do you flat bet or vary the bet sizes? If you flat bet it will be easy for me to calculate the odds of your results. Otherwise it will be more difficult. If you email me the log as a text file to admin@faircasinos.com I can try and publish the wins/losses in a table on this thread. I will write something to parse the values automatically from the log and output it into a table. |

Durrane, I received two of your play logs but I'm not sure why you sent such short ones. They just show short runs of bad luck. You seem to be betting $5 each hand, so could you tell me the total amount of hands (and also the amount bet to include splits and doubles) and that way it is easy to tell the odds of it occuring.
Your losing runs you sent me are all about 3SD's below average I estimated but the first was a list of 25 hands and the second just 11 hands! Even if you play just a few thousand hands of blackjack in your lifetime, you will be certain to get runs like this in a fair game! It is nothing unusual over that small number of hands.
Just please total up the number of hands and the number of bets and the overall result in amount won or lost. You seem to be playing OK strategy. I will then be able to estimate the odds. |
