The largest jackpot in Internet gaming history was won last night. The previous record for the largest single online jackpot was $1,594,649.21, also on a Major Millions slot machine last May.
Major Millions is a slot machine at most new Microgaming casinos. The jackpot starts at $250,000 and builds until it is won.

Coincidentally, Major Millions was won on the day this site was launched! It was at an all time high and the biggest jackpot in online history. Now the jackpot level is bigger still and has surpassed the previous record.
I have tried hitting it recently with not much luck but maybe you can do better!! I had a payout rate of about 70%. I only played with $100 so it isn't much of an indication of the actual payout rate.
In case you haven't played it, it is a 3-line machine and you need to play max coins ($3) to have a chance of the jackpot. I don't know what the odds of winning it are, but it must be worth a try.
Look at www.faircasinos.com/tickers.htm for the current jackpot level. |

It was won by Jim L. at Lucky Nugget Casino. I had no idea when it would hit but it was the day after I posted about the new record level! |

Press Release

On July 18, Jim L became the winner of the world’s largest online jackpot, winning $1,683,524.64 on Major Millions at Lucky Nugget Casino (www.luckynugget.com), a member of the Jackpot Madness network (www.jackpotmadness.com). Jim has become the third winner of over a million and a half dollars cash on the Major Millions slot in a little over a year. To start off his life as a millionaire, Jim and his partner will be taken on an all expense paid luxury trip to Barbados by Jackpot Madness. This luxury trip is in addition to the cash jackpot won by Jim.
We interviewed Jim to hear his reaction to his record breaking win.
Jackpot Madness: How did it feel to hit such a huge, life changing jackpot?
Jim: “It was just a regular day. I came home from work, sat down to relax and play a little. Once the jackpot hit, I just sat there and stared at the screen for about 15 minutes. I was totally numb. Then I got up and danced around the house. I couldn’t believe my eyes.” Jim has been playing all the Jackpot Madness progressives for about a year. The day he won on Major Millions, he had deposited $100 and played for only about 20 minutes before he struck gold and became the world’s biggest online jackpot winner.
Jim, who is 53 years old, worked for the Railroad for 11 years and for the Department of Corrections for 13 years as a truck driver and an expediter. Elated from his amazing win, Jim has already given his notice and is looking to enjoying his future.
Jackpot Madness: How do you plan on spending your huge winnings?
Jim: “I would like to build a new house. I want to either remodel or rebuild the home we are living in now for my 81-year old mother and I will build my dream home. My 15 year old son still doesn’t know about this. He’ll go bonkers! I am going to put some of the money away for his college education. I also plan on playing a lot of golf, invest, donate some of the winnings to charity and continue playing Major Millions. You never know, luck can strike twice in the same place!”
Jackpot Madness: What are you looking forward to doing on the Barbados trip with Jackpot Madness?
Jim: “I want to play golf and enjoy the atmosphere of the tropics. Of course I would love to play in a casino too. It’s been a while since I played in a real casino. Once I found Lucky Nugget and Jackpot Madness, it was just so much more comfortable for me to play at home. I have better luck on line as well.”
Jackpot Madness: Now that you are going to Barbados, is there anywhere else you would like to visit?
Jim: “I am really looking forward to the Barbados trip. Of course I have always wanted to go back to the South Pacific. I was in the navy and stopped in several ports, but never long enough to truly enjoy them. Now, I would love to take a luxury liner to Australia, New Zealand, and the South Pacific, hit every golf course and casino on the way there and back.”
Jackpot Madness: Now that you have had such amazing online success, do you have any advice for others?
Jim: “Just do what’s right and be the best person you can be. That’s what I try and do. I was so lucky to come home from Vietnam that I just appreciate every day.”
