Software: Playtech
License: Antigua

casinotropez.com Casino Tropez

casinodelrio.com Casino Del Rio

cityclubcasino.com City Club Casino

swisscasino.com (EDIT: recently changed to scasino.com) Swiss Casino

casinolasvegas.com Casino Las Vegas

casinoking.com Casino King

Tropez and Swiss (and their sister sites) used to be licensed in Antigua by the name of Global Interest Gaming Ltd. but their license expired last year in October.

Since late March this year the bottom three are under 'Intercontinental Online Gaming' in Antigua but I'm not sure of their licensing status in the interim period or whether this is a new ownership. They may now be linked to another Playtech group (Intercontinental Casinos) but this is not known at the moment (Update: they are not linked to Intercontinental Casinos).

Casino Tropez doesn't mention (at the time of writing) the license name on their website but they are under a separate license now, Imperial e-club Limited, which started in April. They also have a new casino called Casino Del Rio under this license. City Club (one of the first Playtechs) is the other one under this new license.

As I mentioned above, Tropez used to have the same license as Swiss Casino and their 'terms of use' are/were very similar too, so for the moment I'm listing them as the same group.

[Edit: More in the Swiss and Tropez Groups]

Recent additions to Swiss Group :

Royal Dice

Magic Box

Miss Bingo

Tropez Group additions:

Vegas Red

Europa Casino

These may not have the same ownership but I've heard widespread reports of problems cashing in bonuses among this group. I've personally not played at any of these.

A little while ago SwissCasino had to change URL's for some reason. They are now located at scasino.com

City Club Casino (cityclubcasino.com) is operated by Imperial e-club ltd. but this relationship is not widely known although the casino seems more popular than Casino Del Rio. City Club was formerly under City Club Casino Ltd unlike the rest of the listed casinos open at the time which were under Global Interest Gaming Ltd. It suggests City Club took over the Tropez casinos but this is uncertain.

City Club Casino was one of the first few PlayTechs and maybe it has changed ownership along with the new license. City Club Casino (similarly to Swiss Casino) was initially meant to have been linked to an established internet casino group but I don't know which group it is or whether this has changed now.

From Playtech's site (Club Dice was their first casino):
Quote:

2001

Club Dice Casino launched - featuring version 1.1 of Playtech's Client software. Innovative features include Comp points system and player VIP clubs, real time game and transaction histories, multi-platform compatibility and multiplayer modes.

The fruits of the previous year's labor were packed into Club Dice Casino, which accurately expressed Playtech's product vision and set the tone for future development. Finally, here was an online casino product that at the same time pampered players and empowered operators to a degree never before seen. The download was quick, dynamic and configurable, the server connections were fast so the games moved quickly and smoothly, players loved playing them, earned points for doing so, and could review their histories in real time, on demand, and from within the casino client application. Using the Affiliate Management and Advertiser Tracking Program, operators could begin tracking users even before they signed up as players, and from that point on, were able to learn their player's habits, personalities, likes and dislikes, as if they were standing face to face. Every single aspect of the casino, its operation and management, could be carefully tracked and monitored and endless reports and pieces of data generated and retrieved - all through a single unified management interface, the Casino Admin.

Playtech launches Swiss Casino, representing the first major deal struck with an existing online operator. The casino features version 1.2 of Playtech's client software. Six new games added including Progressive Jackpot games and Multi-Line slots.

Playtech pushes forward and releases not only brand new games types (and not just simply another slot 'skin') but also lays the foundation for its own inter-casino progressive jackpot network - even at this relatively early stage in the company's development.

City Club Casino is launched in a strategic deal with an existing online casino.

Beware to all. I'm not a bonus seeker. I was a member of Casino Tropez, Casino Del Rio, Vegas Red Casino, Europa Casino. VIP Platinum. These people held a 5000.00 winnings and told me it was due to a Citadel problem. Which was wrong because I called Citadel myself. When I started complaining I was basically ignored. Caused me multiple overdraft charges at the bank. Jonathan Taylor is VIP manager at Casino Tropez, he is a jerk and could care less about anyone but himself and that casino. When I E-mailed him he chose to side with the casino. Don't know if these people have control over the winnings but it seems awful funny , when you complain you lose. I know it was my fault for trusting them. Won't disclose amount of money I spent there but I will say it was in the multiple thousands. Everything is fine as long as your spending money but when you win the problem begins. Also the 888.00 bonus that Vegas Red offers is BS. Do yourself A favor, If they will screw A long time player what do you think they will do to a new one?
STAY AWAY FROM THEM IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY. Can't prove it but I played there long enough to see that they control who wins and who don't.

Well what was the reason they gave you for justifing not making payment to you. I have played Playtech casinos all the time and cashed out $1000,s without a problem and I did have one cashout at Casino Tropez paid in less than 1 day.

If you have deposited multiple thousands I can't understand why they refused payment unless there were issues with payment from you or something to do with bonus's..hard to say..some of these places give players massive bonus's then apply ridiculous playthrough requirements.

If I was you I'd try to get in touch with Playtech directly to see what they can do. Hopefully you kept all emails from them so you can use this as proof.

Good Luck and I really hope you get your money...icon_smile.gif

Well i use to play extensivly at Casino King/ Casino Las Vegas. They are part of intercontinental and also own - Magic Box, swiss casino Royal dice and Fair Poker.

Recently Harvey, one of the owners i believe or at the least top level brass left the organization for undisclosed reasons. Since then a fella by the name of Jason has taken over most of the bigger issues and was doing so poorly and ignoring my emails that I closed all my accounts with them.

I was and wasn't surprized that he didn't try to do more to keep me as a player as I deposited on average of $2000 per month. I am of the opinion that they no longer care about the players nor truly want to keep long term players at all.

It is a real shame considering the staff employed as customer service reps did an incredible job trying to keep players happy, myself included however senior mgmt seems to have forgotten the very basic element in keeping players happy..Customer servive and honor!

My recomendation is to stay far away from this group untill major changes are implememted and new mgmt is brought in to ensure player priority is a priority.

catrescue911's review for Casino Tropez
====================================

I played at Casino Tropez recently, and thought it would not go well...but I was surprised. I clicked on the link for the free $10 ND bonus, and signed up after downloading. After not seeing the free tn im my account, I ased about it in the casino chat/support, and was told I wasn't "eligible" as it was only through certain links. I explained that it WAS a free $10 banner and if they didn't honor it, I wouldn't be playing there. The next morning I recieved a nice E mail welcoming me, and the $10 was credited. In the casino, a support person greeted me and offered an extra bonus, on top of the usual 100% which I can claim later whenever I'm ready. Not too pushy and very nice . I will probably deposit a small amount there to start.

catrescue911's review for Casino Del Rio
====================================

I played here a few times late last year, and was fairly pleased with support and bonuses. The last two times I played there I had really bad luck, and felt I wasted my money, and after receiving an offer for a $25 nd bonus in January for filling out their "fast-track" program info, which I did, and after being told several times by support that it would be processed "the next day" I never received it and finally gave up.

Casino Tropez I signed up through a banner claiming it a free £10 N/D chip was mine if i signed up, didn't receive it, contacted support and they said, there is no free chip offer, they are not reasponable for what webmasters decide to list on their websites, and i should inform them via e-mail of where the offer was listed and they will deal with it.

The thing is that every forum or porthol you go to there are banners everywhere offering the same £/$10 n/d free chips, the way they spoke to me was as though i was the first person to ever claim such an offer.
