|
|
I now know that the casino bar is not a good one to have chosen to play, but did so before I found this site. I am still awaiting a payout from them dating back to the 9th August. Is there any way that I can make them pay? What official routes could I take if any?
Many thanks |

First of all, have they replied to your emails ( at service@casinobar.com )?
It says in the banking information on their site that it takes 27-34 days for a check (see this page: casinobar.com/help/withdraw/table_process.html )
They are one of the few casino groups to be licensed in Venezuela but I suspect they don't have any regulation at all there because the country doesn't have any laws about online gambling.
After you posted a message about Casino Bar last time (here: http://www.faircasinos.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=379 ), I checked my account there (I first played them in 2000 before they went bad) and found $4 worth of COMP points in my account for conversion and managed to get to the $20 minimum cashout level so I could test the current payouts in some way.
I also noticed on the cashout screen that they require some ID documentation on cashouts "* For Cashouts by Bank Draft, please send us the appropriate documentation to service@casinobar.com ". I've never had to do this in the past but you should enquire about this.
When I tried cashing out the $20 by cheque on 30th August, a message came up saying it would be sent to my credit card instead, although it had long since expired so I doubt it will be paid to it. I haven't contacted them about it.
I just went to my account there now and found I can still reverse the cashout by pressing the reverse cashout button (in the cashout section of the cashier) so you could try the 'reverse cashout' button to see if the cashout is still pending (don't reverse any pending cashout, though!). If you think you'll be tempted to reverse it, you can also see your account cashout history in the main cashier section.

Thanks for the reply. I have tried on numerous occasions to e-mail them but with no response. I requested the cash out by credit card, not by cheque yet it still says that the tranaction is in process?
Do I take it from your reply that I am unlikely to see my money again? |

You can only usually receive up to the amount of your deposits back to you credit card and any excess winnings have to be sent by other means. These were the rules for credit card merchants in the US but this has changed for the worse now so not even your deposit can be returned to the card. Mastercard were the first with these new rules and later Visa followed so now it is unlikely the casino will be able to send any money back to your credit card.
For the relatively few casinos using UK banks, it isn't a problem and you can get both the deposits and the winnings back on VISA cards. Most casinos that allow you to play in pounds will have no problems paying back on the credit card, otherwise you will probably need to request a cheque.
If the software for Casino Bar hasn't been updated for a while, it may still be programmed to say it is paying back to a Credit Card when it isn't possible to do so any more. They have a phone contact number in Cyprus you could try. How much did you win on the site? |

Have tried the number given on the site, but does not sound too hopeful. It goes straight to an answerphone. Did not bother leaving a message as did not think thay would reply. I have a friend who used to live in Cyprus and she says that the prefix on the number is for a moblie phone rather than a landline. I will try to get back into the site and see if I can get a cheque sent rather than on credit card.
I have not won a huge amount, gambled with the $150 initial offer to leave a $53 profit, I just cant get my hands on it. |
