Is Mastercard preventing usage of its accounts on internet casinos? Is this going to happen globally? Has anyone any experiences of their money not being accepted from particular credit cards?

About a year ago refunds of deposits or winnings were made impossible by Mastercard. Depositing was still possible but I'm not sure of the current situation.

For a while now, casinos have had to use a certain code to indicate they are a casino when authorising credit card transactions. For over a year many American banks have blocked this transaction code so even VISA cards issued there won't work. Credit cards from most other countries work fine although recently some European countries have been stopped too by VISA due to laws in those countries relating to online gambling.
