Joeyl, you took your time posting a message! I'm fine. Are you going to the London ICE show, by the way?
The problem with RTG is that players now rightly expect the software company to share responsibility when a casino starts playing up. RTG (Real Time Gaming in case anyone wonders) has quite efficient software but often the licensees are terrible.
If you look at this winneronline thread http://mb.winneronline.com/showthread.html?t=9379 you'll see how at times RTG have had reps to handle complaints and they even have a website and email address for players to send in disputes but often nothing is done.
They basically seem to license the software to anyone with enough money. I heard they licensed software to the known crooks who had previously owned the scam Pyramid/TNT casinos and sportsbooks but I haven't been able to find out much (only heard this from a post by Jondo once on winneronline).
There may be a few good ones but the problem is that players can't be very confident that there won't be problems collecting winnings at some point. Also, many RTG casinos often deny bonuses for no good reason.
I won't promote any of their licensees until they sort things out because RTG is profiting from all the bad ones by taking royalties and licensing fees. |

Sorry about that Sirius - nothing personal i jus tdamned forgot you was here for like 6 months or so.
I am undecided as to the ICE thing right about now but as it's about 15 minutes from where i live i might pop in.
Glad to hear you won't push RTG at the moment. Funny thing is they have quite a reputation amongst the more knowledgable type players which lets face it are gonna be by default the hardest to please.
Where generally in the UK are you? |

I've thought about the RTG situation a bit more and if I extend the logic I wouldn't be promoting any of the software companies! RTG seems a lot worse though and has many bad casinos.
RTG is only a software company afterall but if it wants players to have confidence in the casinos and for the better portals to promote the casinos, it needs to have more rules for licensees to follow. |
