|
|
There is a problem with Video Poker that has been known for some time. It doesn't always fully load the first time which means you lose the 50 Credits.
This only happens once and the browser's cache will help store the game and any subsequent tries work fine even after rebooting the computer (so long as you don't leave it too long before trying the game again so the cached file hasn't been deleted).
I never figured out how to fix it so I have a temporary solution for a way of loading the game without using any of your Credits by clicking here
Don't worry if it doesn't load, as it won't be using any credits and if you try again it should load fine. If it does load correctly anyway, you can't save any scores and no Credits are taken.
To play the game properly so you can save the scores, you will need to click on the game image from the Tournaments link above. |

This is about the Flash Roulette game. I reduced the frame rate from 60 fps to around 18fps some time ago but it is still slow on computers less than around 1400MHz! Sorry if it is too slow on your computer! It should normally be quite fast.
To try out the game without using your Credits (you can't save scores either) go here. |

Hi, it is not necessary unless you sometimes have problems with it loading. Sometimes it won't load properly but still take your 50 Credits.
By the way, if you get an error saving the score on the games, it will send me an email about it with the current score and I'll be able to check it out and add it to the tournament. You usually only get the error if you open more than one game at a time or move around the forum before finishing to play the game. |

I definitely have that problem with the game not fully loading but taking your credits anyway (shows all white spaces instead of cards). In fact, I think I mentioned elsewhere that sometimes it'll do that to me, even if I have JUST played it immediately before. So I thought I should be sure and use this link in this post every time I play - 'cause that was using up a lot of credits on nothing!
So most of the time, I have opened it up here first, and I swear I thought it was helping at first, but now it's doing that "not loading" thing even if I have gone here first! Well, it is *sometimes*... Maybe this "fix" never did make any difference, and it was just a fluke, when I thought it was helping before. But I think it really was helping- but now it seems like it's not making any diffference. Seems very random - sometimes it'll open correctly and sometimes not- and I can't see anything that it's dependent on anymore.
I guess there's nothing you can do about it - sounds like a problem my computer has with the game somehow- but I just thought I'd let you know anyway; just in case it might help in some way...
OK, thanks again!
