You may have noticed strange goings on with the site last night. The site was unexpectedly moved to another server. This server may be faster as it has 4 CPU's but a few things went wrong with the move at first but most things should be back to normal now.

You may have noticed many album pics missing but I will restore those soon. I just needed to free up some disk space when sorting things out. By the way, I'm reducing the Credits you get for rating the album pics from 200 to maybe 50 or even lower. I haven't quite decided on the final amount but many people seemed to be rating the pics without seeing them in full.

I forgot to mention that the email doesn't seem to be working at the moment but it will be fixed shortly. As soon as you can access your faircasinos email, please try to download all your emails regularly in Outlook or a similar email client to save hard drive space on the server, especially if you have a lot of emails.

you know i understand lowering the point system but to an extent, how can you gain points to play tourneys and join the drawings. I already spend at least a couple of hours to build up credits i dont have time to spend my whole day just to get enough points for 10 tickets in drawings! I think you might lose activity in your forum. Just my opinoin already not enough time in a single day as it is.

I do like it here, and appreciate what you do for us gamblers....... Got my $37 from prize winnings thank you thank you thank you!!!!!

I was thinking of reducing the album pic rating credits to 50 but decided on 10. The point is that there are over 1000 pics and it was a bit too easy before to get a lot of Credits just for rating the pics without even looking at them properly.

Remember, you also get 10 Credits for rating topics in the forum and there are many thousands of those.

Some time back I increased the Credits for posting a message from 50 to up to 500 each (depending on length) so it should be easy to get points by posting messages. I don't usually change these things but I'd prefer more messages and reviews on the site than ratings which is why you get more Credits for them.

The pic ratings are still useful because you can easily sort the album pics by the rating and see the best ones. It should be the same with the topics ratings eventually but the page showing the top rated topics isn't linked to yet.

By the way, the email is working again now.

so do i get reinbursted for all the times i try and save my score (poker & roulette) and i get ERROR, ERROR for some stupid reason..... ive not only lost credits which are harder and harder to come by these days, yet its 50 pts per game and then to not only lose the 50 pts but the score im trying to save . which by the way has been some high numbers lost a 2400 pt round in poker cause of ERROR, ERROR. Last but not least Its not just the pts and a high score that irritates me when i see ERROR, ERROR its the 30-60 minutes of my time wasted. There is not enough time in a day as it is, for me im very busy and sometimes only have an hour to spare online...... to have to end it with ERROR ERROR!!!! WHY DOES THAT HAPPEN!!!!!! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Sorry about that, but if you send a PM I will check my email as I do get notified by email when the error happens. It only happens if you browse away from the game or browse the forum before saving the score or you open more than one game at a time. It's just for security as otherwise it is possible for people to save fake scores if it didn't check for those things. I can check if it's fake by looking at the email. So basically, when you play a game please don't do anything else on the forum until you've saved your score or you might get the error. It could also happen if the server is down but that is unlikely.

The only error in the last week for anyone playing the games was one today from you in roulette for 250 and I will refund it to you. You shouldn't normally get these problems though. I will look through older emails too and refund older errors.

Sorry about the 5+ hour site outage. I'm afraid the server hardware failed. It was only moved to this server about five days ago too but it has failed already. The server it's been moved to is really slow at the moment but it should improve. It might need to be changed again.

There may be problems with emails and site registrations at the moment.

Please don't enter tickets into the draw until I know for sure I won't move servers again. At the moment it's too slow but is getting better.
