Watching Topics

A feature of the message board not really mentioned in the FAQ is that users can choose to watch a topic which means that they get notified (sent an email) whenever there is a new reply to it.

There are two ways of watching topics. The first is to simply click the 'watch this topic' link at the bottom of the topic.

The second way is to post a message and make sure the 'Notify me when a reply is posted' checkbox is checked in the options. Whether it is checked by default depends on your settings in your profile which you can easily change using the 'Your Profile' link which is in the forum submenu.

To unwatch a topic you simply click the link at the bottom of the topic you are watching.

The reason I've mentioned all this now is that I have added a new link at the top of the forum index which will list all your currently watched topics, letting you keep track (not normally possible).

Soon all casinos you have listed as 'Your Casinos' will have their related topics watched automatically which means you are notified whenever anything is reported or written about them.

This is for when the forum is reorganised and all gambling properties (such as casinos) will have their own topics and extensive History and News will be attached to each of them. I have been working on it recently although you won't see the changes on the live site until it's finished.
