18 Jan 06 EST BetFair Denies Renewed Interest In Market Betfair denied a report claiming that plans to float the company on the stock market had been revived, as the exchange prepared to make its operational debut in the Australian betting market. Despite the company having decided not to go public last October, the Guardian reported that preparations were now being made for a flotation in September this year. Betfair’s communications director Mark Davies said: “It’s complete nonsense and news to me. I’ve no idea where this came from. It’s justnot on the agenda.” Blog Page Read more...
