Recently (last year) obtained Antiguan license as Sun Gaming Services Inc. but expires next month. The original group has been around for a long time and used MicroGaming software but changed to Playtech last year.

This group is a long story. May be dumped soon due to various incidents that occured last year.

Update: This group have been around a very long time and although they are not perfect and have had interesting disputes with their old software company and even some affiliates, there isn't a very good reason to dump them. They have had problems in the past with promotions but nothing obvious that hasn't been resolved. I will go into more details later. They have never failed to pay any players even when they had extremely generous promotions that they went overboard with and lost around $500,000 to just months before they switched software from Microgaming. Incidentally, their former Credit Control guy, Kobus, moved to the Trident Lounge group of casinos at around the same time they changed to Playtech software.

casinofortune.com - Casino Fortune (currently in 8th position in the top rated online casinos in the directory - reviews by our forum members - although this isn't something we agree with and would rate them as a safe place to play but nothing too great but worth a try)

mapau.com - Mapau Casino (another of their founding sites)
casinomb.com - Miami Beach Casino (their third casino site and launched mid-1999)

I used to play at at least one of them a few times a month. It seems alot tighter now to me. I DO get these E mails every month from one of the managers, like we're best friends....how is my family, and so on, offering me 100% bonus on my deposits. I've taken them up a few times, but they just don't seem the same to me.

That almost sounds too friendly - or like quite the marketing ploy. How do you feel about receiving emails like that? I personally would prefer to have the casino just send me the promo and not get too personal.

It's SO fake sounding....I'm sure they care about what I've been doing, and my family! They care about my DEPOSITS! Now, i respond with "How about a ND bonus" when she asks me if there is a special bonus I would like ! Occasionaly I get a $10 freebie here and there. Whoopie!!

castrecue - I agree - what does your family have to
do with your account with them?
I find this demeaning...they don't know we see thru
their not-so-cleverly disguised fake interest??
Holy canoli these places make me crazy sometimes.
Hang in there.

They send those types of emails to everyone, the names are just filled in off there account list.
Though I do know Sunny Group did give money to a family who had a child with some kind of health problem.

I have gone back to playing there monthly...they give me 100% still on my deposits, and little freebies at least once a month. Playthrough is only 6 times, and I can play quite a while now on a $50 deposit. If I could just quit being so greedy, I might cash-out.

Usually I play 4 line Video poker, or Joker Poker. I very rarely play slots. I like the fact that unlike many other casino bonuses, I can play pretty much what I want, other than BJ, which I really con't care for anyway, and maybe 2 other games. I used to play JOB, but really like the multi hand games.

Are saying that you CAN NOT play BJ at Playtech (which is incorrect) or that you don't want to?

Tricon11's review for Casino Fortune
====================================

Casino Fortune is another casino which came online around late 97 or 98. Hard to remember now, but I am sure they were not Playtech back then, I think they were Microgaming. Always had good support. Never had any problems with bonuses, deposits, or withdrawals. Cashed out many times (prior to Playtech software).

Support: Very Good
Website: Excellent
Promos: Good
Software: Very Good
Payout Speed: Good

Personal rating out of 10: Not Rated

This casino is OK but there was a problem with the whole of the Sunny Group a while back about them not honouring a promise to a webmaster / infringement in copyright material. However, for players I think this group is still OK and there have not been ane reported problems. This group just keeps plodding on. Indidentally, I think they have been around for a while - since about 98 if my memory serves me correctly.

catrescue911's review for Casino Fortune
====================================

Again, the Sunny grp were some of my first casinos I played at. Mapau being first, then Casino Fortune. I used to really prefer the Playtech software, and played there almost exclusively last year. I cashed out a good sum last Dec.( and the check took almost 10 days! after I paid $30 to have it sent express) and after that NO MORE weekly freebies, not even any deposit bonus offers. After playing there all those years and never cashing out, I finally do and they give me the brush off. They treated me well until then, so I guess as long as you don't cash out too much they will continue to reward reg players.

catrescue911's review for Miami Beach Casino
====================================

This is one of the SUnny Group of casinos, wehre I used to play almost exclusively, at least once a week at one of them. I used to favor Playtech and prefer their video poker still. I received weekly % bonus offers, usually 100, and did sometimes have to wait up to 4 or 5 hours for a Western Union deposit to be credited to my account, which I thought was too long of a wait. After I cashed out $4500 at their sister casino Mapau, ALL of the deposit bonus offers and ND bonuses just dried up. I'm not sure if that is how they treat all that cash out larger amounts, but I don't play at Maimi Beach anymore.
