I think I understood this poster's question differently from the way you must have, Sirius.
I thought s/he meant playing at more than one casino on one computer simultaneously- i.e., having more than one casino program open and running concurrently on one computer - and being logged into each of the one or more DIFFERENT casinos at one time, as well as playing in some game or another in these multiple casinos that are open and running on the one computer. (as opposed to having multiple casino programs installed in one computer and playing at them at different times -- not in the same computer "session.")
Whew! Wouldn't that get confusing?
I know it would for me.
But actually, newtothis, I would say that confusion wouldn't be the real problem, but rather, the performance capabilities of the computer in question.
I know I would expect running more than one casino at a time, with interactive gameplay going on at both (or all) of them at the same time, to overly tax my computer, and performance would definitely suffer, possibly to the point of being unable to continue. Lockups probably, in other words, but at least, very slow, poor performance in most ways.
But then again, my computer gripes and moans when I have more than a couple WINDOWS open at the same time, much less whole programs, so maybe that's just my problem.
If your computer can handle it, I can't say with any authority, but I certainly can't see how there could be anything wrong with playing multiple casinos simultaneously on one computer.
And unless the casino is doing things it shouldn't be doing, I don't think they would know that you were doing it either. There are ways that a casino (or any entity) can tell what other programs are running on your computer, but they would have to be acting improperly and possibly even illegally to do so.
Which isn't unheard of, of course.
If they wanted to, when you download their software, they can make it possible for them to be able to "see" all the files on your computer (which actually is fairly common, and not something to be worried about - as long as it's not some scurrilous group with malicious intentions). You've probably encountered some form of this when you are on a website, and the site informs you that you don't have the required application or whatever it is you will need to be able to do something on their site, like play a game, for example. How else would they know that you don't have Shockwave (or whatever) installed on your computer? We actually allow a lot more access to our computer files, to a lot more people, than we ever imagine, I suspect.
Usually, it makes "our online experience" (as they always call it) better and more enjoyable, and we don't have to worry about them using that access in ways that we would object to, but that's not always the case. (Witness the hell that all these spyware scumbags have put so many of us through... what they're doing is highly objectionable and very UNenjoyable if you are unlucky enough to have to suffer through it).
If nothing else, it simply wouldn't be practical (or profitable) for a casino to be spying on their players' computers - if there's no profit to be gained from it, I can't see any casino putting too much effort into it, no matter what it is.
And why would they care if you're spending your gambling money somewhere else, as long as you're still spending it (also) on them?
Now, if you were trying to play at the SAME casino as 2 different people, in the saem game, to gain some edge over other players or the house, then that would be a different story.
Anyone doing that would already be acting improperly, as that would mean they had opened up more than one account, which is almost always against the rules, anywhere.
But I don't think that's what you mean, because I guess that woudl have to be done on 2 separate computers, since most programs don't allow their program to be registered more than once per computer... although some of them still will, so I guess that could happen... and then that would be a problem if they found out about it, and like I said, I think they can find out just about anything if they really wanted to... I guess I think they really just aren't interested...
If you ever do really get worried that someone (casino or whoever) is monitoring somehow your actions or otherwise on your computer, there are programs you can get to check that kind of thing out and keep it from happening, etc. Programs that monitor your ports, I think is what I mean, but I don't know much about that... or just a simple firewall would help also.
Anyway, more than you were asking for, wasn't this! I just realized I'm still rambling-oops. Sorry! Basically, I'm just saying that as long as you're not one person pretending to be 2 or more, then there wouldn't seem to be any problem.. (but like I also said, I'm no authority, so if it's real important, don't rely just on what I've said.)
Anyway, have fun playing and GOOD LUCK!
