| There are alot worse things you can spend your money on. The government just wants to get their hand into it for the $$$. I don't know why they are targeting online gambling, when you can sign up at a bazillion porn sites, that offer anything from beastiality to barely legal (and often times not) girls. Besides, people will find a way to gamble on-line, so they may as well get used to it. |

I agree with catrescue that the government should keep their nose out of peoples lives. Personally I believe the real reason (not the public one) that they are attempting to outlaw onlining gambling in the US is because the government is not getting their piece of the pie. I also thing that the next thing you will see will be government regulated online casinos not only in Australia but also in the States......and that they will come with all of the tax implications as B&M casinos.
I live in Canada and already have a number of casinos won't allow Canadians to gamble with them. Primarily on-line casinos with offices in Canada. |

I know a decent casino you could try. Littlewoods casino was one of the few that used to be in THE BEST category because it was licensed in the Isle of Man but eventually all the casinos licensed there left. Littlewoods is a well respected name in the UK. Although this casino doesn't allow US players, it allows Canadians.
I'm an affiliate here too but have not started to promote them because they don't allow US residents. It's powered by Cryptologic software but I think they might have their own support (freephone Canada: 011-800-7777-4357).

| Well the legality isn't clear in the US. Many casinos don't allow US players but it's the biggest market so most do despite pressures not to. |

i agree with catrescue i have been gambling online for about a little over a year now and have won more online than in a land base casino guess my luck is better online lol. There are thing online that are far worst that needs to be look at but there is lots of money in online gambling and government would love to get there hands on some of it . I live in the usa and would love to try littlewoods casino . By the way you have a very nice forum.

gambling online is fine but there should be much tighter regulations for the casinos, their policy's and their track record i.e three strikes and your out!
It seems rogue casinos are allowed to do as they please. |

The US government went in the wrong direction. Instead of trying to make online gaming illegal, they need to get it regulated. Have it so when a player in the US gets winnings not paid, money stolen from their checking account by unauthorized charges being out through.. etc., then the laws can be enforced, no matter what country this casino is doing business in.
And if that country has a problem with US laws reaching in, then those cssino's IP's needs to be blocked so they can not be accessed from within the States. |

I agree there should be one set of regulations for all online casinos and if any dont meet these requirements they should be removed/rufused a licence.hell we need a licence to own a t.v. set in the uk, why not to run a casino online? we need a waoc....world authourity for online casino's

In my opinion, if the U.S. legalized gambling on the net then it would be government regulated, which in turn would cost casinos and winning patrons money (tax on winnings).
But on the flip side, if the casinos are regulated it would help the honest casinos, and get rid of the dishonest ones, which in a sense would protect us, the gambler.
Somehow though, I just can't see the U.S. taking a percentage when they could have the whole ball of wax.
Why take a small percentage of the action with all the headaches of licensing, regulating, and being an advocate.
When all they would need to do is legalize there own U.S. casino, or casinos, and make all others illegal.
I think this opinion came from my Italian ancestry. LMAO!

There is so much internet corruption going on
Gambling is the least of the US concern. Focus on the real problems and illegal activities. |

I agree 100 percent but I do believe that online casinos have become more dishonest over the years and should be regulated more. I have not won a dime in two years because I can never get above the wagering requirements and just as I am about to come close I end up on a losing streak. |

I agree 100%. Leave us alone to do what we want with our hard earned money. Hey, anytime they want to just give me money then they can tell me what I can't spend it on. Until then I will do as I please.

| Where I live in the US we also have bingo halls, where you are essentially gambling, and the lottey, which is again gambling, but they don't want you to gamble online. Then I can always go to Vegas, South Dakota, Atlantic City...etc., and gamble, so what could be the difference?? The governments SHARE.... |
